Birthday Wish
Today I received a call from a friend that is very dear to me,
He called to say goodbye and his soul would be set free,
My friend is a wrestler, fighter, and has a black belt in Judo,
But I fear He'll lose this fight with cancer he got a few months ago,
At the end of our conversation He said if we never see each other again please remember All the good times we've spent
And in his weak voice I heard him say I love you my brother,
I love you with all my hearts content,
As tears came streaming down my face I replied I love you too,
and I'll never ever forget you
Today I received a call from a friend,
and if for only one day,
I would wish for No more pain and suffering for my friend,
Let it be Today,
This day My Birthday
