JUBILANT FATHER His face is like a sun, warms the moon beside him. She´s grown full; tonight begins the waning. The tide pulls through her very bones, her form aches as each wave crests. The earth pulse, heavy, blood warm within her Beats new chords, old sun god chants. "You are the first mother and the last, all spring flesh has traveled through you." Aztec plumed and gold beaded, your priest kneels at the holy alter, gathers each salt pearl shed, nectar for his sacrament. You are the temple, we pilgrims swept through the gates, bent figures know the scent and petals of your presence, spread our arms to harvest blossoms, and your priest, sun struck, kneels beside you.

Fitting Into His Dream

© By Anonymous

It is difficult to fit into his dream
When we are constantly denied opportunities to the extreme
In this constant world of turmoil; was this in his dream?
What is going on now in the world this is not what it seems
How can we make a difference and live his dream?

Did he envision killing, hatred and despair?
If so, than it was a night mare
Is it fair to say we are all equal when we are not
Or should we say it depends on the hue of your skin to move up a notch

The War was that in his dream?
We will never know, just like what happened in New Orleans
Mother Nature took a course that we had not foreseen
Our soldiers were called to clean-up and protect the scene
How did this fit into his dream?

We are blessed with the legacy of his dream
However, what has happened to our lakes and streams
The Tsunami left the country with a disaster
Was this a part of the dream of King, or our Master

The lost of life of the men and women who worked in the mine
Was this in his dream or was this just a bad time?
We pray that the families can become whole
God Bless them and rest their souls

We will never know with everything that has happened how it fit into his dream
But we can take a stance and make it a reality by becoming a team
Everyone has a dream whether we are sleep or not
Let's build on cohesion and make that climb to the mountain top

So my question to you is where do you fit into his dream?
