I remember the day that I set eyes on you. You were so scared of people for what they'd put you through. They had given you up, saying that you could not be controlled. One look at you and I considered you sold. I watched you grow up not only in size, but the love and the trust and that gleam in your eyes. You grew into a wonderful boy, and these last twelve years have been an absolute joy. I knew you were sick and starting to grow old, but nothing could prepare me for the news I was told. You have been my little buddy, you've been my best friend. Somehow we can't prepare for the day when it ends. I love you so much, that I cannot watch you suffer. It is now time for me to give you up to another. Please know how very much that you were loved. Keep an eye on your Mother from heaven up above. Be a good boy up there and make lots of friends, until the day come when we meet again. In between this time you'll remain in my heart and in my thoughts and my memories, we'll never really part. Rest now my Son, close those eyes. Always carry wtih ...Mommy's last kiss goodbye.
