Let's Talk
© By Anonymous
Let's Talk Okay mom- Let's talk! But about what? Drugs? Alcohol? Boyfriend? Sex? Or how about life mom? About how much I need you. Or how much I hurt so bad inside, mom? How about how much I really do love you? But mom- Please! Let's just talk. By:: Arizona Marie Lynn / Misty Louise Eldridge April 10, 2004 / 19 years old
Being a teenager I believe that the number one thing a parent can do is listen and talk. Yeah . . . let me guess-My teen doesn't listen anyway. Mom . . . Dad. . We do listen and we do hear. Just sometimes, just like you, we don't always do the right thing . . . we're sorry and we do learn. Mom sometimes I hurt so bad inside. And sometimes I know there's a reason and sometimes there not one I can find. So mom, that's when I need to be heard. So please listen . . . then talk. -Your Teenager P.S. This is how one teenager feels. Please listen. . Because I know there are so many more out there . . . just like this one.
