Silent Screams: The Unheard Jews Of 1943
© By Kelly Blaine
Man with the gun, don't you hear my shriek? I yell and I scream. An exit I seek.
I wish I was dead, away from it all. I wish I could stand, free and tall.
I kick and yell, nowhere to run. You tell me, my life is done.
I'm afraid for my life, I want to live. If you could find that part of your heart, it's called 'give'.
I can tell you don't care, not one bit. So pull the trigger. Fire and hit.
