JUBILANT FATHER His face is like a sun, warms the moon beside him. She´s grown full; tonight begins the waning. The tide pulls through her very bones, her form aches as each wave crests. The earth pulse, heavy, blood warm within her Beats new chords, old sun god chants. "You are the first mother and the last, all spring flesh has traveled through you." Aztec plumed and gold beaded, your priest kneels at the holy alter, gathers each salt pearl shed, nectar for his sacrament. You are the temple, we pilgrims swept through the gates, bent figures know the scent and petals of your presence, spread our arms to harvest blossoms, and your priest, sun struck, kneels beside you.

COLORS OF THE RAINBOW

© By elli toristo

The Colors Of The Rainbow Are So Beautiful
They Gleam In The Sky So Bright
All Colors From Red To Blue
They Seem To Unite And Hold Hands
And Dance With The Rain
The Rain That Falls Like A Teardrop
A Teardrop With Such Happiness
For Every Rainbow...
There Is A Pot Of Gold At The End
A Pot Of Gold That Hold The Power...
To All Happiness
When I Look At The Clolors Of The Rainbow
It Makes Me Think...
Why Can We Not Be Like Those Colors Of The Rainbow?
Why Can We Not Unite And Hold Hands?
We Could Be Like That Rainbow
With Every Drop Of Graceful Rain...
Can Make A Beautiful Color...
A Color That Dances With Such Glory
When They Come Together...
It Is Like A Colorful Smile
A Smile With Such Peace
So Next Time You Look At The Colors Of The Rainbow...
Remember The Smile Within...
And Smile Along With This Rainbow...
Because This Rainbow...
Will Be Smiling Back...
And Saying To You...
Remember That You Are Like These Colors Of Me...
That Dance Along With Every Raindrop...
That Is Glistening By The Sunshine...
Of Inner Peace.
