Roses are red
Violets are blue
A final tribute
Especially for you

A love of a mother
Will never die
I'll never forget you
I cannot lie

You were known as being gentle
But at times could be stern
After a few pats on my bottom
I finally did learn

I'm the person I am
Because of you
Your spirit lives in me
And shows in what I do

Your smile lit up
As bright as the sun
You were strong and gentle
Both witty and fun

Many will miss you
Now that you're gone
You'll never be forgotten
Your memory will live on

Many will shed a tear
And feel my sorrow
Today's thoughts and prayers
Will get me through tomorrow
