'my Heroes'
© By Anonymous
MY 'HEROES' WERE BORN, ON A SEPTEMBER DAY.... LEAVES FALLING, SKY WAS BRIGHT; THEY ENTERED A BUILDING, WENT OUT OF SIGHT... EVERYTHING AROUND ME GREW STILL' THINGS THAT HAPPENED, SO UN-REAL! SKY GREW CLOUDY, ASHES FELL; REMEMBER THAT DAY, SO VERY WELL! MEN AND WOMEN, OF DIFFERENT RACE; FACED DANGER THAT DAY, BUT HELD THEIR PLACE... THEY WEREN'T FAMOUS OR RICH, WERE KNOWN BY FEW... THEIR COURAGE STRONG, THEIR WILL WAS TOO! HOW CAN WE 'THANK' THEM? WHAT CAN WE 'SAY'? BE 'PROUD' TO BE AMERICAN... REMEMBER THAT DAY!
