JUBILANT FATHER His face is like a sun, warms the moon beside him. She´s grown full; tonight begins the waning. The tide pulls through her very bones, her form aches as each wave crests. The earth pulse, heavy, blood warm within her Beats new chords, old sun god chants. "You are the first mother and the last, all spring flesh has traveled through you." Aztec plumed and gold beaded, your priest kneels at the holy alter, gathers each salt pearl shed, nectar for his sacrament. You are the temple, we pilgrims swept through the gates, bent figures know the scent and petals of your presence, spread our arms to harvest blossoms, and your priest, sun struck, kneels beside you.

Spiritual Poem

Edge of The Cliff

© By Chadwell

ge of The Cliff

Everyone standing around
in awe
because they didn't think it would
come to this....
..................
I'm one fatal step away
from the Edge of The Cliff

the stress and depression brought me
right too this point

and now I'm slipping
losing my grip
as I hold on to the cliff

then I see you run too my aid
I beg you to please keep me
from falling

those kind words
I'm Here For You
I will Never Leave Your Side

brought tears to my eyes
which started streaming down
my face

as you looked at me
I could tell that the thought
of you losing me would never
make things the same

I felt in your spirit
the strength that would keep me
from falling and ending my life

in amazement I saw the Lord
on one side and you on the other

pulling me up
and when I got up

both of you all put your loving
arms around me

and that let me know that I
would never come to this point
again

as the Lord spoke to me he said
Things aren't always gone be easy
and when times get rough all you
have to do is turn to her

because I put her here for the specific purpose that she will
help you get through any obstacle
you feel you cannot handle alone

I thanked her for being here
to keep me from making the worse
mistake ever

we walked hand in hand while I gave him the utmost glory
because without you all

I would not understand
the true meaning of having
a great friend like you
