JUBILANT FATHER His face is like a sun, warms the moon beside him. She´s grown full; tonight begins the waning. The tide pulls through her very bones, her form aches as each wave crests. The earth pulse, heavy, blood warm within her Beats new chords, old sun god chants. "You are the first mother and the last, all spring flesh has traveled through you." Aztec plumed and gold beaded, your priest kneels at the holy alter, gathers each salt pearl shed, nectar for his sacrament. You are the temple, we pilgrims swept through the gates, bent figures know the scent and petals of your presence, spread our arms to harvest blossoms, and your priest, sun struck, kneels beside you.

Spiritual Poem

~~ ADIEU MY LOVE ~~

© By ChristineM Sotorp

Farewell my lady of golden hair
Mused the young man in his chair
So very fine and reliable was she
Of a spirit elusive and free as the winds
Her soul soaring on invisible wings
He thought he could keep her captured
Only to find she had taken flight, unbound

~=~

Never shall his memories of her fade
She came into his life like a swift blade
Sprinkling upon him her golden dust
Mesmerizing him with her silent lust
She, so free spirited, loving and just
Uplifting him, mending his past sting
His spirit once again soaring to sing

~=~

Due to her magical love so tender
His spirit reborn, life now for the better
He marveled how he would fare without her
His new understanding would go unhindered
As desperate as his desire for her remained
He knew in his heart she would always reside
Free of inhibitions never again will he hide
