Who we are:

White Oak Press has one mission...to discover extra-ordinary poetic talent in ordinary people. We are here to give ordinary people like you the opportunity to have their poems published. Not all who write poetry can be published or attain recognition through the general media. In the United States of America we believe in the freedom of speech. At the White Oak Press, we too believe that everyone has the right to freedom of speech; that everyone deserves the chance to have their poem considered for publication. If your poem is published, you have the same chance of attaining the same recognition that the famous writers achieve. We give you this opportunity. All you need is the confidence in yourself and..a poem.

Poetry Anthology Publishing

All Poets desire to see their work in print....to share their poetry with others. The White Oak Press has helped thousands of poets reach this goal. We have published over 10 Poetry Anthologies in the last 6 years. If you have written a poem and are proud of it, submit it to us and let us publish it.

Our Future Plans:

We are proud to say that we have received more than 300,000 poems since we started 5 years ago! We are working right now on redesigning our web site to make it a portal for amateur poets all around the world. In addition to our free poetry writing contests, we currently provide thousands of the best poems entered in our poetry writing contests for your reading pleasure. We will be posting more and more as time goes on.
